Meet us at MEDICA 2024 next month!

Surgical Holdings is thrilled to be returning to MEDICA trade fair this year for the third consecutive time. This event has always been a fantastic platform for us to connect with both existing partners and new opportunities – and we’re very much looking forward to this year’s show with plenty of exciting things planned!

MEDICA has played an important role in our international journey so far, allowing us to expand our reach and build relationships with new export customers. It’s been a great platform not just for us to showcase what we do best, but also to listen, learn and grow. Every year brings new opportunities and new conversations. As we prepare for this year’s event, we’re very excited about the innovations and solutions we’ll be showcasing, and we’re looking forward to meeting many of you in Düsseldorf from 11-14 November.

What’s new this year?

Visitors will experience something truly exciting this year – our brand-new International Surgical Instruments Catalogue! As we progress towards full compliance with the EU MDR, this comprehensive resource is designed to equip our partners and distributors with everything they need to confidently promote our products in their local markets. This catalogue is a testament to our commitment to strengthening our growing network across Europe, which remains a key focus for us.

In addition to our catalogue, we’ll be showcasing our sterile-packed Kirschner Wires, a vital tool in orthopaedic surgeries. As one of the few manufacturers offering these wires in a sterile condition, we’re proud to provide hospitals with a solution that not only reduces the risk of infection but also makes their operations smoother and more efficient. With ready-to-use sterile K-wires, hospitals can save both time and resources, eliminating the need for sterilisation.

These Class IIb implant K-wires are proudly manufactured in the UK at our facility in Southend. While we already collaborate with exceptional distribution partners across Northern Europe, Australia and New Zealand, we’re keen to expand our reach even further, particularly in key markets like Italy, Spain and Greece. As this is a niche product within orthopaedics, we’re looking for partners who truly understand the space and can help us grow our presence in these regions.

We’re excited to showcase the full breadth of our product range at MEDICA this year. We have a large range of reusable instruments across various specialised areas, and we’re proud to utilise our skills as specialist manufacturers with instrument heritage dating back to the early 1900s to provide our customers and our distributors with a wide range of exceptionally crafted, high-quality instrumentation.

This year, we’ll also be highlighting our custom-manufactured hip surgery instrumentation, all proudly made at our UK factory. These products, along with our full range of surgical instrument sets, offer advanced solutions for modern surgical needs.
