inWe’re exhibiting at IDSC – Showcasing Our sustainable and cost-effective Repair Solutions
We are excited to be attending the IDSc 16th Annual Conference in Birmingham next week (29th- 30th November) and we are all set to showcase our Sustainable State of the art Repair Solutions for instruments, full tray sets, Rigid Endoscopes and multiple power tools over the course of both days.
As part of our Repair Solutions, we’re passionate about what we do and are keen to pass that wealth of knowledge onto our customers. We believe it is important to educate and train others, to help them get the most out of their instruments so they last for many, many years.
We offer CPD Training to the NHS and Private Healthcare sector to educate on Scope Fault Identification Training as a preventative measure. Additionally, we offer a Scope Auditing service, assisting Sterile Services and Theatres with the Quality checking of Rigid Endoscopes, without the need for expensive checking apparatus. Our training SOP can be integrated into internal QMS systems, covering the different faults that our repair department sees, and how they can be identified.
In our training workshops, we will visit you and go through a wealth of information. We’ll show you the difference between poor-quality and high-quality instruments to help you make the right choices when purchasing and show you what to look for on a used scope to identify faults as a preventative measure. We’ll train you on cleaning and maintenance to help keep your instruments in good condition and walk you through our repair and refurbishment processes so that when the time comes, you’ll know exactly how your instruments will be cared for.
All major brands of Rigid Endoscope can be repaired*1 at our workshop in Southend-on-Sea. Using the latest optical technology, technicians return scopes to the manufacturer’s original specifications. All parts are brand new and have full traceability. Our scope department is thriving following recent successes with our CPD Scope Fault Identification Programme and our Scope Audits. The department is also having an expansion.
We’ve recently released our Workshop Tour invitations, and openly invite our customers to visit us. We’re happy to show you around the factory, help you to put names to faces, and provide some familiarity when it comes to the processes carried out when your instruments come to us for repair. If you’d like to arrange a tour, let us know next week at stand 36, and be sure to watch our most recent video release. It’s a sneak peek into what to expect.
We also offer an Endoscope Re-fibre service, manufacturing our own fibre bundles in-house. We cover small and larger diameter scopes and only use high quality, globally sourced components, such as German-engineered fibre optic material and medical grade stainless steel tubing. We also source and fixate a new fibre cone as standard, a new solderable sapphire distal window, a new light post colour ring, a new objective in 95% of cases and issue a replacement ‘O’ ring to prevent leakage.
Come see our SMART REPAIR solutions for yourself at The Eastside Rooms next week at the IDSc Annual Conference. We’d be happy to discuss our educational opportunities and we have plenty to show to our fellow industry professionals. You can find us at Stand 36. We look forward to seeing you there.
*1 We offer our Scope customers an 18-month guarantee on the repair and OEM optical specification followed where possible. We enable personal collection and delivery and offer laser welding for sheaths. We are ISO 13485 accredited, as recommended by MHRA* advice around endoscope storage and care.
