Water Quality VS Surgical Instruments – What are your thoughts?
This November, Surgical Holdings is pleased to confirm that we will be attending the annual conference of the Institute of Decontamination Science. In addition to attending the conference, Surgical Holdings Managing Director, Daniel Coole, will be speaking on Tuesday 27th November, about the effects of poor water quality on medical devices.
The conference is being held for three days, starting on Monday 26th November and ending on Wednesday 28th November, at The Grand Hotel Blackpool. Each day has an action-packed schedule, with a variety of different guest speakers throughout. Within the schedule, is several plenary sessions which are designed to educate and inform delegates as they progress into the Healthcare Science field, ensuring that they have the necessary tools and information to assist in their decision making. All levels of health science staff that are involved in decontamination, will benefit from the conference and will appeal to all that attend.
Over the three days, Surgical Holdings will be exhibiting the duo finish instrument range, baskets with fixation, repairs and refurbishments including scope repairs. In addition, will be a conversation about replacing lead hands with the Arex Chirobloc. The four main topics are:
- Endoscopy – Changing Chemistry
- Instruments – Water Quality
- Detergents
- Explanation of Career Pathway and Qualifications
